Located on the upper part of the river, at the begining of « Les Cévennes » Kayak Hérault will welcome you at the Canoes and Kayaks rental base near Montpellier.
Kayak Hérault offer 3 deferents trips from 7 to 15 km, for everyone who enjoy nature and aquatic activities.
You will discover all along your journey some typical fauna and flora but also remains from the History of this incredibly beautiful mediterranean river. You will enjoy swimming in the delicious refreshing river named « L’Hérault »
Free Shuttles and shadowed parking.
Kayak Hérault offer’s you canoes and kayaks trips but also the possibility to rent Stand Up Paddle from April to the end of September (even latter according to the weather)
We are located 30 minutes from Montpellier and 45 from Nîmes.

The Mains Rapids
This part, starting on Ganges and arriving on our base, takes 2h30 of navigation (without stop) for a total of 8 km.
The Family Trip
This mostly quiet trip start on our base and finish after 7km and 2h30 navigation (without stop).
Stand up Paddle
The rental of Stand Up Paddle is only available on the front of our base.
You will have a 500m body of water to enjoy this activity.
River running
After being welcome by our team, you will receive appropriate equipment then you will be all set for starting your journey at Kayak Hérault.
Our team of canoe instructors will be please to give you some security details and paddling advices so you can appreciate your day in safety conditions.
Who we are?
Kayak Hérault is born from the association of two canoe/kayak instructors, passionates of white water sports. A canoes and kayaks rental located on the river « Hérault » close to Montpellier. Implanted in the famous canyon of « Les Gorges de l’Hérault » at the beginning of the mountains : « les Cévennes »
